This week's assignment was Asymmetry Vs. Symmetry, and I thought that I could just breeze right through this one. I mean, there are many symmetrical and asymmetrical things in the world right? Yea, there is, but the hard part was finding creative objects and making the pictures intresting. Overall, I think this was one of my worst assignments.
For this assignment i had all symmetry pictures and one asymmetry. This is my asymmetry and i think it's crap. I mean how exciting can this be it's a lightswtich and a ball that I dont even know what it's used for that is in my bathroom. The only positive things i can find in this picture is that i like the shadows of the switches and the ball, and the red bold background, but other then that this picture kinda stinks.
I kinda liked this picture because of the waves of the bars, but it would be better if that one ball didn't hang lower then the rest. I also used a red bold background to make this object stand out more, and i think it did. But i don't think Mr. Hill liked this picture at all.
When symmetry comes to mind, i immediately think of a butterfly, but the question is how would I take a picture of a butterfly that isn't moving? And then the answer came to me, Mr. Layshock has butterflies pinned up on his wall, so i took a picture of that and i think it turned out pretty well. I just think that i could have done a lot better on this assignment
