Assignment #3 One Point Perspective

This week's assignment is One Point Perspective, and at first i didn't understand what it meant. Even when Mr. Hill explained it, I had no idea where I could find one point perspective places, but when you know what you're actually looking for, it's a lot easier to find.

This picture I like a lot, and I have no idea what made me take it, but I'm glad I did because it turned out great. Not only did it use one point perspective, but repeating patterns with the bricks and the lines on the gutter.

Funny story about this picture, I was in the Pamida parking lot with my friend, and i took a picture of one of those light poles. Well, as I'm taking a picture an old lady walks out and goes to my friend and says asks what am I doing. My friend goes "he's taking a picture for digital photography class" and the lady replies "Oh, i thought it was something like that, because I've seen some weird pictures in my day but this one takes the cake." I couldn't help but laugh when my friend told me this. Anyways, i like this picture because it looks like a face with an extremely long nose and it looks like it's looking down on you.

Even though this was a "school shot" I thought it was pretty good because when I'm bored in school, I do this with my book all the time and i figured out that it could be used as one point perspective, so I took a shot of it.
